Permalinks

Learn how to create permanent URLs for the library's electronic resources: databases, journals, articles, ebooks, etc

Wiley DOI

Wiley Online Library uses a DOI (digital object identifier) for its permanent URLs.  It is always included in the citation section.  You may use either the DOI in the citation or the URL in the browser address.

However, you need to add the library's proxy URL to make a valid permalink that works on and off campus.

Example

1.  Take the URL in the browser window

https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1365-2028.2008.01017.x

2.  Add the library proxy prefix -- http://libaccess.sjlibrary.org/login?url=

3.  Here is the permalink:

http://libaccess.sjlibrary.org/login?url=https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1365-2028.2008.01017.x
