Use the Library Course Materials tool in Canvas to create reading lists that combine electronic articles, streaming media, digitized content, and physical materials into one place for easy student access.

Adding Online Resources with Cite It! (New UI)

  • LCM offers a browser tool called Cite It! that allows you to add resources from external websites directly to your list.
  • Install the Cite It! bookmarklet from the User menu (next to your name in the upper-right corner).
  • Navigate to an external webpage (e.g., an article, a video, or an eBook) and click on the Cite It! bookmarklet. You’ll be able to edit the citation details and choose which reading list and section to add the item to.
