The Records Management Program enables all university constituents to organize and access needed records from distant and more recent university history. Knowing where we have come from aides in planning where we are going. As the university grows and innovates, records management will allow us to document our journey.
Records management entails consistent systems throughout campus guiding how and when records are created, accessed, stored, preserved and/or discarded. The Records Management Program expands upon existing records retention schedules to inform the identification of records and their sources, the development of file plans, and the processes by which records are transferred to the University Archives.
