Where Do I Start Searching?

When you start typing a search term into the search box, you will see which collection you are searching. The default is set to search the San Jose State Collections, but you can change that to California State University Collections or Articles+ from the drop-down list as shown in the image below:

OneSearch search box on the library website

SJSU Collections

  • Physical materials
  • Full text articles, ebooks, ejournals, streaming audio and video and more
  • ScholarWorks
  • SJSU Digital Collections

Note: Users can expand their search from this scope to include non-full-text items as well as CSU Scholarworks records by clicking the “Click here to expand your search” link that will appear at the top of the results page.

California State University Collections

Physical materials from all 23 CSU libraries.
Note: A request form will appear if an item is available to borrow from another CSU.

Full-text electronic resources (articles, ebooks, ejournals, streaming audio and video).
Note: This search also includes records for non-full-text items that may be available to request through Interlibrary loan.
