International Child Health resources

The World Health Organization sponsors research on health issues with an emphasis on the effects on global society.  One topic that the World Health Organization studies is Child HealthThis resource gives background information and statistics on child health in various regions of the world. UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) is a major resource for information on children's health issues.  This site contains statistics, overviews of the issues and country specific coverage of children's issues.

Demographic and Health Survey Program from USAID has collected, analyzed, and disseminated accurate and representative data on population, health, HIV, and nutrition through more than 300 surveys in over 90 countries.

International Statistical Agencies website links to specific countries.  Here the researcher will find statistics concerning children and health, labor, demographic information, etc.
