Rapid Prototyping Lab

 

 

Need to print a poster for the upcoming conference where you were accepted to present? 

MLK Library provides free poster printing for SJSU students who have been accepted to present their research at a professional conference, in the Prototyping Lab located on the lower level.

Feel free to drop by the Prototyping Lab Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to learn more.

                             

 

              

 

 

 

1.    Submit your poster to the prototype lab through the following link: Poster Print request form according to the time you schedule for printing. All posters received for printing should be complete and ready to print 'as is".

2.    Posters will be printed from a PC

* If you create a poster on a Mac, please check the file on a PC to ensure there are no conversion issues.

* The preferred file formats are PowerPoint (.ppt) and Adobe PDF (.pdf). If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Rapid Prototype Lab via email at librarytechtrainer@sjsu.edu or visit the lab in person. The lab is located on the lower level of the building and is open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Poster Size

*  The standard poster paper size we print is 36 by 48 inches, depending on the template used. Whether the poster orientation is portrait or landscape, at least one edge of your poster cannot exceed 36 inches due to printer size constraints.

*  You will receive an email when your poster is printed. Please stop by the Library Prototype Lab, located on the lower level of the library, to pick up your poster at your earliest convenience

Note: We cannot guarantee same-day pickup

 

File Submission

1. Upload your file . Your file(s) must be PowerPoint (.ppt), Adobe PDF (.pdf)  or jpg format. 

*  Make sure your browsers is signed into your SJSU account. The form is restricted to SJSU domains only. 

2. You will receive an email from librarytechtrainer@sjsu.edu when your poster is ready for pickup!

*  You are not required to be around for the printing process.

*  You may email us at librarytechtrainer@sjsu.edu for additional information about poster questions
