The Rapid Prototyping Lab is open to SJSU students, staff and faculty from all majors and colleges. Make an appointment for training or get in touch for more information.
Open hours: Monday through Thursday 10: 00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The laboratory provides various tools and equipment that are available for use. However, in order to utilize the Laser cutter, vinyl cutter, and sewing machine, it is mandatory to have successfully completed both the training video and the hands-on training.
To utilize the library prototype lab, students, staff and faculty must:
1. Sign up for access to the library prototype lab canvas site (Google Form).
2. Complete the General Safety module, which should take approximately 30 minutes and sign a waiver form.
After you have finished watching the training video and successfully completed a short quiz, please contact librarytechtrainer@sjsu.edu to arrange a suitable time for your hands-on training session.
