Finding books and articles on health disparities research is a little more complicated than your standard health topic search, due to a lack of standardization in search terms. Here are some search terms to try in OneSearch, PubMed, and CINAHL.
Condition terms with ethnology subheading applied
Gender equity
Health/-care disparities
Health/-care equity

Broad terms for Population Groups, e.g. Hispanic or Latino or Asian
Sexual and Gender Minorities, including Transgender topics
Think like a health disparities researcher. What terms would a researcher most likely use? For example, Latinx is increasingly used in health research, even if the topic isn't specific to LGBTQ+. But if the research is conducted by someone trained in Queer Studies, Anthropology, Medical Humanities, etc. they might prefer to use more specific terms, e.g. Mexican American, Ecuadoran, etc.
You can find articles with statistics and data by using search terms related to epidemiology. For example, try one of the terms below:
Condition term with epidemiology or statistics and numerical data subheadings applied
Epidemiologic measurement terms, such as Prevalence or Incidence
You can also try browsing the website of governmental and non-governmental organizations dedicated to improving health inequities nation- and worldwide. For example, try one of the below websites:
