This research guide provides links to timely documents from the California Department of Education. The SJSU Library is a Learning Resource Display Center (LRDC).

Learning Resources Display Center

The Learning Resources Display Center (LRDC) houses copies of instructional materials that have been approved by California Department of Education (CDE) in grades K-8. Area educators will be able to view the adopted materials during regular library hours. The LRDC is located on the 7th floor of Martin Luther King Jr. Library. Academic Standards and Frameworks (CA Department of Education)

California Department of Education updates all core academic subjects — English language arts and English language development, mathematics, history/social science, visual and performing arts, world languages, and health to give students the critical thinking and communication skills they need to succeed in 21st century college and careers. 

Curriculum Frameworks & Instructional Materials: Guidelines for implementing the content standards in all subject areas adopted by the California State Board of Education that are developed by the Instructional Quality Commission.
