Scientific Citation Help

Ask your professor what style you should use for your papers and reference lists. Some prefer the style in a specific journal (Citation Managers have many of these styles available for their citation generators), and some prefer CSE.

Scientific Style and Format: The CSE Manual for Authors, Editors, and Publishers is the preferred citation style for many scientific disciplines. The 7th edition (2006) of the CSE Manual is the most current complete manual.

The 7th edition is  available for check-out on the 8th Floor.  Also, check out these CSE-related websites:

CSE Sample Paper  (The Norton Field Guide To Go, W.W. Norton & Company)

CSE Reference Examples (McQuade Library at Mirramack College)

CSE In-Text Citations (University of Madison Wisconsin, Writing Center)
