What is Digital Humanities?

Digital Humanities (DH) is the pedagogical and scholarly space where the methods, interests and ways of knowing of the humanities intersect and interact with the tools, methods, and problems of digital technologies.

At the King Library we embrace an expansive and inclusive definition of DH. We aim to support faculty in the arts, humanities, ethnic studies, and allied disciplines who are exploring the use of digital tools and methods in their pedagogy and RSCA.

If you have a project or idea and want to learn more about how the library might be able to help, feel free to reach out to our Scholarly Communications & Digital Scholarship Librarian Nick Szydlowski at nick.szydlowski@sjsu.edu.
