Summary

I worked closely with Senior Lecturer Steve Durie, the faculty advisor for the Computers in Art, Design, Research, and Education Student Organization (CADRE S.O.), and CADRE S.O. committee members to design a semester-long project for student organization members.

This project was to create vector artwork in Adobe Illustrator to be laser cut onto paper and wood and assembled with circuit boards to create LED lightboxes.

This was an opportunity to introduce students to different processes to bring their digital Adobe created designs to real life, helping them gain digital literacy skills and help them bridge the separation between digital and physical.
