GenderWatch enhances gender and women's studies, and gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) research by providing authoritative perspectives from 1970 to present. This well-established and highly reviewed resource offers over 300 titles, with more than 250 in full-text, from an array of academic, radical, community and independent presses. Researchers and teachers may access more than 219,000 full articles on wide-ranging topics like sexuality, religion, societal roles, feminism, masculinity, eating disorders, healthcare, and the workplace.

A resource for core journals in sociology and related disciplines including criminology, ethnic studies and more. In addition to full-text journals, it contains informative abstracts for core coverage journals dating as far back as 1895.
Sociological Abstracts This link opens in a new window
Offers access to the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. The database provides in-depth and non-evaluative abstracts of journal articles and citations to book reviews drawn from over 1,800 serial publications, and also provides abstracts of books, book chapters, dissertations, and conference papers. The database backfile dates to 1952.
Women and Social Movements in the United States 1600-2000, Scholar's Edition This link opens in a new window
This collection seeks to advance scholarly debates and understanding about U.S. women’s history and currently includes 124 document projects and archives with more than 5,100 documents and 175,000 pages of additional full-text documents, written by 2,800 primary authors. It also includes book, film, and website reviews, notes from the archives, and teaching tools.

The ABI/INFORM Collection is comprised of ABI/INFORM Global, ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry, and ABI/INFORM Dateline. The collection features thousands of full-text journals, dissertations, working papers, key business and economics periodicals such as The Economist and Sloan Management Review, country-and industry-focused reports, and major news sources like the Wall Street Journal. Its international coverage gives researchers a complete picture of companies and business trends around the world. Also provides valuable historical perspective, with journals and other material dating back to the early 1900s.

The journals archive consists of older (at least 2-5 years) issues of core scholarly journals across a wide range of subjects including the arts, humanities, and social sciences. The eBook collections are DRM-free and allow for unlimited concurrent use and unlimited chapter downloads and printing.

A searchable collection of 90,000+ pages of diaries and letters from approximately 500 women. Diaries and letters cover the period 1500-1950.
Irish Women Poets of the Romantic Period This link opens in a new window
This database serves as an authoritative resource on the history and literature of Ireland and Great Britain and on Irish women poets in the Romantic Period. Includes more than 80 volumes of poetry by approximately 50 Irish women writing between 1768 and 1842. It also offers numerous biographical and critical essays prepared by leading scholars specifically for the project.
Latin American Women Writers This link opens in a new window
An extensive searchable collection of prose, poetry, and drama composed by women writing in Mexico, Central America, and South America from 1500 to the present. The database includes literary works, memoirs, feminist essays and other material by writers such as Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Gertrudis Gomez de Avellaneda, and Julia Lopes Almeida. Later authors set for addition include Alfonsina Storni (Argentina), Juana de Ibarbourou (Uruguay), Gabriela Mistral (Chile), and Clarice Lispector (Brazil). This database serves as an important resource on both the feminist history of Latin America, and the lives of some of its major players.

This resource contains 150,000 pages of materials drawn from the letters and diaries of 1,325 women beginning with early Colonial period through to the 1950’s.
Scottish Women Poets of the Romantic period This link opens in a new window
Includes 60 volumes of poetry by 47 authors. In addition to the poetry, the database features bio-critical essays by scholars in the field as well as selected criticism from an authoritative bibliography complied by editors Nancy Kushigian of the University of California, Davis and Stephen Behrendt of the University of Nebraska.
