This guide contains information about the library resources and services that are available during the COVID-19 closure.

Resources for Faculty

Leganto Course Reading List is a tool used to create reading lists in Canvas. Add electronic articles, streaming media, digitized content and more into a single list within the LMS so that students can access all their course materials in one place.

Plagiarism, InfoPower, and Paraphrasing tutorials are available in Canvas

Searching for "sjsu tutorials" in Canvas Commons will find these tutorials, and the modules come with instructions on how to activate the quizzes that come with Plagiarism and InfoPower. Quiz results go directly to your grade books.

Find ebooks by searching for a title or topic in OneSearch then applying the Books and Full text online from SJSU filters.

Learn how to find and embed library eBooks into your Canvas course. (To jump to information on embedding an ebook, go to 1:00). This provides students unlimited online access to an eBook without ever leaving your Canvas course.
