Save time when creating course reading lists by directly searching within our OneSearch catalog and tagging items that you want to be placed on reserve with Leganto.

Searching for Resources in Leganto 

You can search for library materials in Leganto to add to your reading list sections.  Click the blue + button to gain access to this feature. To the right of your sections, select Search. You can search for items by title, author, or by keyword. 


Searching for Resources in OneSearch

In OneSearch, search for articles and books. Sign in to your library account using your SJSU ID and SJSUOne Password before searching. When you find a resource you would like to add a resource click on the three dots next to the pushpin icon.

Then select the Reading List Icon. 

After selecting Reading List, you will then be asked to identify your list and section then click on ADD TO READING LIST

Before you publish your list, Send your reading list to the library by selecting the ellipsis menu to the left of your section or you can send all list by selecting Send list. The library can place books on course reserves and check for copyright clearance. 

Publish your List

When you're ready for students to view the reading list, click Publish from the ellipsis menu in the upper left-hand corner of the site.
