3D Printing

PREPARING your file

We use ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) filament, which is an oil-based plastic.  This is a strong, sturdy material.

Maximum printing size must not exceed your scheduled print time. Layers must be at least 0.1 mm thick (0.020 in). We recommend you build your object in millimeters or convert to millimeters prior to submitting your request.

Software:  We suggest your download the free and easy to use Cura software to determine how long your file will take to print prior to requesting time.

Image Format and multiple parts: Export your model as a stereo lithography file, with an STL extension (.stl).

Colors: Black, Blue, Purple, Red, Silver, Yellow, Orange, Green, and White

Supports and Raft: Supporting structures are sometimes needed if the design includes a section that overhangs from the base.  Raft is another means of support for the 3d print object; it will be added to the design to help it adhere to the printer bed.
